History
Founded on May 23, 1954, the Riverdale Lions Club has proudly served the community for generations. What began as a small group of dedicated volunteers has grown into a lasting force for community service, supporting local youth, families, vision programs, and charitable causes. Over the years, the club has sponsored community events, raised funds for local needs, participated in Lions International service initiatives, and built strong partnerships throughout Riverdale. Guided by the Lions motto, “We Serve,” our members continue to adapt to the changing needs of the community while honoring a legacy of service, leadership, and fellowship.
