Twice a year, our Huntley Area Lions Club and many Red Raider Leos proudly tackle Reed Road to clean up trash and keep our community looking its best. It’s teamwork, service, and hometown pride in action!

Our club collects the following items and drops them off in DeKalb at the Lions of Illinois Foundation: Keys, Key fobs, Wire, Desktop ink cartridges, Brass, Pop Tabs, Cell Phones, and Hearing Aids.

We collect gently used eyeglasses from the community, sort plastic frames from metal frames, and then drop them off in DeKalb at the Lions of Illinois Foundation. This simple act has a big impact—providing affordable eyewear to children and adults who might not otherwise have access, while giving our community a chance to give back in a meaningful way.
