Our Favorite Projects

Our club is proud to support a wide range of projects and initiatives that address real needs in our community. From hands-on service projects and seasonal drives to fundraising events that support local causes, each effort is rooted in our commitment to service, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact. Together with our members, partners, and volunteers, we work year-round to strengthen our community and create positive change.

Autumn Harvest Display

Harvest Fundraiser

Every fall we work with local farmers to gather the corn stalks that they can't harvest and repurpose them into fall decorations that we then sell at the City Farmer's Market. Proceeds from the sales are split between LCIF and the farmers themselves.

School Supply Drive

Each May, we host a school supply drive to support local students and families as they prepare for the upcoming school year. Working with community partners, we collect much-needed items such as backpacks, notebooks, and classroom supplies, which are then distributed to local schools and organizations. This annual effort helps ensure students have the tools they need to succeed while bringing our community together around a shared commitment to education and service.

Winter Coat Drive

During the first week of November, we host a gently used winter coat, hat, and glove drive to support individuals and families in our community as colder weather sets in. Working with local partners, we collect and distribute essential cold-weather items to those in need. This annual drive helps keep our neighbors warm while bringing the community together around a shared spirit of care, generosity, and service.

Spring Cleanup

From removing litter to restoring shared outdoor spaces, these efforts are made possible through support from our annual Whiskey & Bourbon Tasting fundraiser, where great company and fine spirits help fuel meaningful environmental impact.

Eyeglass Recycling

We collect gently used eyeglasses from the community, sort and clean them, and then distribute them to local vision clinics or international partners. This simple act has a big impact—providing affordable eyewear to children and adults who might not otherwise have access, while giving our community a chance to give back in a meaningful way.
