Our Lions Club is launching a committee to plan service projects that support Lions International’s Weeks of Service initiative. Promoting Your Service to Engage More People

Getting more Lions, Leos, and community members involved depends on strong promotion. The committee will encourage clubs to use resources from the Marketing Matters webpage. These include a Marketing Campaign Planner and a Social Media Kit, which provide ready-to-use materials and ideas to spread the word.

Promotion can take many forms: flyers at community centers, posts on local social media groups, or announcements during club meetings. For instance, sharing stories and photos of past projects can inspire others to join and contribute.

Celebrating and Reporting Your Impact

Reporting service activities is crucial. It helps Lions International track the collective difference made during the Weeks of Service. The committee will remind clubs to submit reports detailing their projects and outcomes.
